Well, step back for a moment here. Let’s think about this.
Here are 3 reasons why you should use a diet chart for weight loss, for you to consider.
- 1/ Firstly, on the positive side, allow me to point out that losing weight would give you increased amounts of energy and renewed vigor. And you would find that the more weight that you lost the easier it becomes to keep up.
O.K., I hear your objection, that in the past you have fallen back into bad habits. It is a valid objection, I agree. However, let me provide for your attention the fact that oftentimes this is because you never reached escape velocity with your dieting plans. Had you have kept it up for at least 6 months, and treated it as a lifestyle change, and not dieting led activity, then you would have found it much easier to maintain.
Losing weight cannot be just a fad.
There are really quick ways of losing weight but you need to think longer-term about making some fundamental changes to the way you eat and exercise.
- 2/ Second, you should look at that in the light of statistical information that can be garnered about exactly how much weight you should be attempting to lose.
In many respects, this is where the different weight charts come in most handy, as a means of comparing yourself and your weight with that of others who are the same age as you are. In that way, you can get a better handle on where you really stand with regards to your weight and know more clearly exactly how much you should be looking to lose. Likewise, there is no need to go overboard. And in the same way that a diet chart for weight loss can show you if you need to lose weight, it is equally important to consider that it also exists to show you when you have reached a good weight and should stop any diet plans. And also, you can then hopefully avoid eating disorders such as anorexia and bulimia that we so often hear about. Because you will have clearer guidelines as to when to start and stop your eating regime.
- 3/ Third lastly, you’ll get great insights into the science of weight loss which will stand you in good stead for the future.
Now, it may well, hopefully, be that you achieve the escape velocity we spoke of earlier, and will not lapse in your weight loss. But the sad truth is that many people will relapse. At least if you have charts to show your progress you can accurately identify when these lapses happen and make better judgments in the future as to how to stop them happening. And this will result in clearer demarcation lines between success and failure, and a much more distinct sense of your dieting progress. What’s more, on top of that, also, you will have the satisfaction of knowing that there is an end in sight that is pre-determined by the chart
Whenever you glance at the reasons and evaluate them, I expect you will probably have to admit that a compelling case can be made for thinking of a way to use a diet chart for weight loss and to incorporate it into an overall plan of action...So now think about that for a minute or two.
We just made quite a good case in favor. Perhaps you actually should now take some time and think of the ways that you could incorporate this into your daily schedule.
